Privacy Policy
This page explains, in plain language, what information we collect when you use this website or write to us — and what we do with it.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by Mistyug India Private Limited (CIN U68100KA2026PTC215102), with its registered office at 385, 1st Floor, 28th Main, 10th Cross, HSR Layout, Bengaluru — 560102, Karnataka, India. In this policy, "Mistyug", "we", "us" and "our" refer to that company.
2. What information we collect
We try to keep this minimal. We collect:
- Information you give us — when you fill out the contact form, we receive your name, email address, phone number (if provided), area of interest, and the message you send.
- Information you send by email or phone — anything you choose to share when you write to [email protected] or call us.
- Basic technical data — like your browser type, device type, approximate location (from your IP), and pages visited. This is collected automatically by standard web infrastructure for security and performance, and is not used to identify you personally.
We do not run advertising trackers on this site. We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 18.
3. How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and discuss a possible engagement.
- To keep a record of conversations so that future communication has context.
- To meet legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations applicable to us in India.
- To keep this website secure and working as intended.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with anyone for marketing purposes.
4. Who we share it with
We share information only with parties who help us run the business and who are bound to keep it confidential — for example, our hosting provider, our email provider, and our auditors and legal advisors. We will also disclose information when required by law, by a court, or by a regulator.
5. Where it is stored
Your information is stored on servers operated by reputable hosting and email providers, which may be located in India or in other jurisdictions with comparable data-protection standards. We take reasonable steps to make sure your information is protected in transit and at rest.
6. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information for as long as we are in conversation with you, and afterwards for a reasonable period for record-keeping and to meet legal or accounting requirements. If you ask us to delete your information, we will do so unless we are required by law to retain it.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to:
- Confirm what information we hold about you.
- Correct anything that is inaccurate or out of date.
- Delete your information, where we are not required to keep it.
- Stop using your information for a particular purpose.
To exercise any of these rights, write to [email protected]. We will respond within a reasonable time.
8. Cookies
This site uses only essential cookies and standard browser storage needed for the site to function. We do not run third-party advertising cookies. Your browser settings let you block or delete cookies at any time.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information you share with us. No system on the public internet can be guaranteed to be one hundred per cent secure, however, and we cannot promise absolute security.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on the website itself.
